Individual Psychological Therapy 

Sean provides individual therapy in the following areas of specialty:

  • Complex trauma and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

  • Addictive behaviours (gambling, sex/porn), and substance use issues (alcohol, other drugs)

  • Anxiety-related issues

  • Shame and low mood

  • Relationships

Sean is trained in a variety of evidence-based experiential psychotherapies that have their basis in cutting-edge knowledge of how the brain, mind, and body change through psychological treatment.  Therapeutic approaches are applied based on the client's presenting needs, personal strengths, and preferences.  Sean has completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 in Internal Family Systems (IFS), Introductory and Advanced Level training in EMDR, and Level 1 training in the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (SP). Sean is also trained in Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).  Sean does not provide therapy to couples, children, or adolescents.
